What/Why: The Massachusetts Office of Coastal Zone Management (CZM) is kicking off COASTSWEEP 2018, the Annual Massachusetts Coastal Cleanup.

Thank you for your past efforts and welcome aboard if this is your first cleanup. We hope you all will join us to make this year's event a success. COASTSWEEP depends on people such as you to ensure that our beaches are safe and clean, not only for the enjoyment of people, but for all flora and fauna that inhabit our shorelines.

Last year more than 2,300 volunteers covered 181 miles of shoreline and removed more than 25,000 pounds of marine debris!
